When we first discussed approaching brands to see if they could help support our customers the main problem was crafting the right proposition and knowing the right people. I'd had the pleasure of working with Myles first at Barracuda Group and then more latterly at Revolution Bars PLC and knew that his marketing brain and commercial approach was just what we needed. We talked through the problems that operators faced and developed a concept which Myles then took to his network. It's been an absolute pleasure working with him on the Moet project.

Myles has a unique background of working with national leisure companies in operations marketing and commercial senior roles. This gives him a 360° vision and understanding of the competing needs of a business. We asked him into Deltic to help us reinvigorate our business, to challenge what we were doing and bring some new thinking to the table. We knew we had some great people already, they just needed a fresh perspective and he delivered it in spades. His ideas on discount, pricing, delivery on the drinks proposition and ideas on reporting, measurement and staff incentives made a real difference.

Myles has been extremely influential in the success of the Mahou brand in the UK. Having a complete understanding of the drinks category as well as knowing exactly what the consumers would find appealing, Myles took on the brand and installed it in all Revolution and Revolucion de Cuba sites and ensured his operations and management team were completely immersed in the brand. We worked collaboratively with Myles on a marketing plan for Mahou and I was blown away by the amount of great ideas he gave us and we have taken on and used in many other retailers since. When we started working with Myles Mahou was very much in it's infancy in the UK and as a result of his great work we very quickly became the top selling brand in the Revolucion de Cuba estate. This success has really allowed us to scale up and become a serious player in the super premium lager segment gaining many more listings as a result of the brilliant brand execution Myles put in place for us. I value every conversation with Myles and am yet to come across someone with as much knowledge and experience in both the hospitality and drink industries.

I had the pleasure of working with Myles on several projects over the years, and after joining Aviation Gin and needing to make our mark in the UK market I knew that he would be the one best placed to help us achieve our goals. After initially engaging with Myles on the brand he set about drawing up ways to bring Aviation Gin to the Attention of consumers using unique marketing as well as utilising the tools we had available in the best way possible. The key differentiator I have experienced in our various projects would be high quality collaboration. We collaborated on a Rum project for Revolucion De Cuba and it was clear from the outset winning hearts and minds of his teams to influence and implement long lasting success was the key. To deliver this Myles was clear in what we needed to do, how to do it and worked on a plan with us. This set us on course to deliver a positive transformational shifts for both our businesses that we still enjoy today. He brings the right people together and always keeps the fundamental priorities front and centre. His knowledge and understanding of how to create the right customer experience is second to none. Lending ideas from the market or ideating new concepts to tap into customer needs before they know they need it was a step change. Bringing positive challenge and commercial rigour to executing plans was tough but needed to ensure successful launches, innovation and long term partnerships. We successfully created a Ketel One Vodka campaign in partnership with Revolution Bars Group that resulted in the brand becoming the fastest growing alcohol brand in the GB On Trade and we also delivered a successful & disruptive Ciroc Vodka 'bottle to table' activation within Revolution that was best in class across the premium bar market in GB. Myles is dynamic, commercial but a true partner and is able to see joint value creation.

I worked with Myles during his career whilst he was at Revolution Bars Group. I found him to be very sharp, Commercially - driven, he totally understands the key trends and what they mean for the business but, overall, just one of the good guys.

We brought Myles into our team not long before the first lockdown started to accelerate our commercial agenda and to help us re-imagine the drinks range we offered across our 160 pubs. Working collaboratively with our marketing and senior teams, he helped us to completely overhaul our drinks product range combining a consumer first approach with great commercial thinking in record time, all over Zoom and despite many suppliers being furloughed. He then went on to help us with a range of other opportunities from consumables to logistics. He brought enormous energy and good humour to us at an unbelievably challenging time. He also applied himself to an array of challenges with respect and humility. There was no "I know better than you" attitude which too many specialists can bring with them on a client mission. Finally, and critically, he was able to clearly demonstrate the payback on his time. He's definitely prepared to put his money where his mouth is. He is a pleasure to work with.
